So going along the lines of the Quantum leap - Putting right what once went wrong...

That is a really hard question Mani......to put everything right you'd have to have more bounce than Zebedee!

Marilyn Monroe - to stop her taking the overdose or to stop her from calling Bobby Kennedy when others could have helped her more.

Re: Quantum leap... who would you leap into?
*LMAO* @ ianto
for me i would probably leap into saddam hussain - that moush alone was a crime against humanity
in all honesty i cant really think of one particular person. theres a few in my mind but i'm just thinking if leaping into them would change that event or delay it. an obvious one would be hitler.. leap into him and make him a fun loving hippy.

Re: Quantum leap... who would you leap into?
I wonder what other things it would change though with a knock on effect and could it lead to something else even worse?

Re: Quantum leap... who would you leap into?
On the other hand supposing there'd never been those rocket bomb things. (Excuse me but my brain has gone to sleep and the rest of me plans on joining it soon.) Would we be as far advanced with space exploration?
And even if there hadn't been WWI would we even have got as far with passenger air travel.

Re: Quantum leap... who would you leap into?
I would like to have been the midwife to Frau Hitler, in 1889.
'I'm sorry Frau Hitler, your little baby boy is dead.'
I would have told her, after smothering him.

I don't think Israel was created just as compensation for over six million dead Jews.

That reminds me of something but I can't remember it properly now - maybe you know it. That thing that starts off and describes two babies and asks which one you would kill at birth and you choose the one that seems to be the most of a problem and it turns out you've killed Mozart or somebody.

It's only with hindsight that I would kill young Adolf.
Otherwise I'd be the Austian King Herod.

Re: Quantum leap... who would you leap into?
garinda - no but it was after the holocaust it was viewed that jews should have their own homeland - b4 the war it was a popular movement for a zion state and with the persecution they faced in europe mass migration began taking place to israel - only later on did the independence take place
if that persecution didnt take place they would happily still be living in europe

Re: Quantum leap... who would you leap into?
I've thought quite a bit about this. Hate to feel like I'm playing God and then had to remember it's just a thought eh? I guess I'd stay close to home and have done a very short spell with Abe Lincoln.
If he had put a U. S. Grant in charge of the North at or near the beginning of the American Civil War, 100s of thousands young boys wouldn't had died for absolutely no reason. Plus the South wouldn't have suffered so much during reconstruction with some of the continuing ill feelings on both sides.
The plain stupidity/incompetance of McClellan, Pope, Burnside, Hooker, McClellan (his second stint), Meade, was just terrible. IMHO.
