now that particular wall is only single skin so it wont have ever been an external one or a load bearing one or was the house ever a listed building, now I contacted the building control people in town and they sent the forms out but thats where it gets me..
for those who have done this type of thing before and seen these forms I am presuming I am in table E for the standard charges..?
but on section 7 question 4 it asks for estimated cost of work???
it wont cost anything as taking part of a wall down and bricking up the original doorway and all materials I have got and will get from work and the work I will do myself..
so do I leave that section blank or do I just put what it would have cost me to get the materials and pay someone to do it??
is there anyone who has done anything similiar in their own home who can give some pointers?
thanks..
