Random House on Whalley Road
I'm randomly curious about a house on Whalley Road, Accrington. I think its number two hundred and something and its an old house towards the Queens Road West end of Whalley Road. It's a big house with a fair size garden and the ground floor is suspicously boarded up. The house is quite obviously empty and as far as I can tell not in any way for sale.
Does anyone know the story behind it or what is going on with that house? |

dyke nook is further down whalley road than queens road west, i will look next time im up that way.

If it's owt like this 1 on the right hand side of the map, then that is Dyke Nook, only 1 I can think of that is boarded up round here. Used to be a children's home when I was younger, not sure if it was used for anything before or after that
