Re: reception music....

Miss K,please dont think my sole intention was to blag a free invite. You both have a day to remember, thats what matters.Myself & Mrs Silver wed in '81 on a budget of around £60 to pay for the buffet, all day lisence(it was the old opening hours then),cheap so called champagne. Our wedding presents consisted of countless casserol dishes, cups & saucer sets & various narcotics. Our families came down from all corners of the country,my mates tried to kidnap me & bring me back up north,we were living in a bedsit & on the dole & it was ace (if we ever meet i'll show you the few ****ty photos we had took).Have a good one .Luv MaxOh yes & the landlord only had Stevie Wonders new album to play(the one with Happy Birthday,Jamming on it)

Re: reception music....

It's not the venue, or the budget, or how posh the car is, or how big an album you get - a wedding is all about the people. Something I learned before we were doing photos- when we just did video.

Couples who let their day get taken over by fussy relatives (parents & aunt/uncles who demand to get their own way, or cousins and siblings who become difficult or selfish bridesmaids) or who have to spend a long time fretting over the table plan, or who spend all day worrying about their guests enjoying themselves so much that they forget to enjoy themselves - they are the ones who have difficult weddings.
