Redac ( Red Accrington) Bricks

A mate is trying to acquire some ( 20?) Redac bricks ,made in Huncoat, of a differenet, smaller size than the notrmal and of a rough textured finish, though dark red. They are needed to match his 1920s house. Size 9"long, 2" high, 4-5" deep. Anyone got a suggestion which will result in him buying some?

I dont know how far they have got with cleaning up lonsdale street are therenone there that he can salvage?
here is a link to someone who obviously like bricks so much they take lots of pictures - thought it might help in identifying a similar brick if he cant get the redac ones - perhaps one of the companies is still in business?

What about the demolition contractors at BRI....worth a try?

Nay Roy, ther'll be nowt thear, them bricks as Bob is after are non standard. Accy bricks are 9" x 4.5" x 3" , the ones he's after are 9" x 4.5" x 2". Can't say as I've seen any 1920's or other houses around that time, using non standard bricks.
