Registry Office
I was just wondering if anybody has got married at accy registry office?
I am getting married there in July and was wondering what it was like. Is it a good place to get married? Any replies would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

yes its nice ........have been to a couple of weddings there. nice to take some photo's at st james church just across the rd. good luck & best wishes to you both.

Went to my Mum's wedding at the Accy one last year, very nice and a good ceremony too. I got married there some years back and it was fine then too !

My sister got married in accrington, it was very nice, had the pictures taken at the park on manchester road, bit of a drive but the pics are worth it.

We had some of our photos taken in a park even though we married in church because the church itself isn't very picturesque. St. James's is good for photos though if you get married in Accy Register Office. Dunno what the vicar thinks though of all the people having photos taken there when they didn't get married there.

I got married there just after they had done it up (june 2006) and it was lovely. Beautiful room, really nice ceremony and the staff there made me feel really comfortable and relaxed (was very nervous) Would recommend it
