think you need to get the original tenancy cancelled and your name off the lease , all damage costs get divied up equally, and the lads staying on, (plus new tenants) sign a new lease . And when you move out you take all your crap/junk with you .
One thing (tenancy agreement) has nothing to do with the other (personal belongings)

i was going to say something similar - of what i know tenancy agreements are usually one year - so divide all costs and those staying on start afresh

This isn't a problem with the contract or the landlord, this is a problem with the housemates!

We have sorted it out now though so it is fine.
