Hiya Chick

Hows about the space centre at the Park family centre, its really good (and cheap) the only downside is i believe they dont do food, but its has a sensory bit, plays dvds on a wa;;, loads of slides balls etc, and i think good for the twins age group. A lot of the other playcentres I know, the kids only really get a good use of the play bits when theyre a bit older

Hope this helps x

Funtime factory is really really good, my son, Jack nearly 2yrs loves it and it is safe too. The food is good and they make a good bru as well. It is also cheap £2.50 for 1-2 years and £2.95 for over 2's and you can spend as much time in there as you want.

There is a small area for under 2's with soft blocks and toys for the little ones although Jack hasn't played in that area for a while cos he kept getting out and wanted to go in the big play area. They also have a ball pool which is good.

May 2008 Suzi says:
I took my two daughters to Likkle Monkeys yesterday. Wow!!! What a transformation the new owners have really thought about everything Rebecca is only 2 and there is a seperate lower floor where she can play without being knocked around by older children. Bethany is 8 and she was playing in the upstairs area. I could still see her on the CCTV screen in the cafe area and she gave me a wave at the bottom of the slide. We staying for tea and the food was brilliant only £2.95 for a childrens meal and its all made by their own chef. With both children playing happily I even managed to check my emails on the FREE wireless Internet. If you havent been already its clean, the staff are friendly and the entrance fee was only £3.75 each with no time limit. I would recommend it.

May 2008 Leanne says:
I take my daughter (15 months) on a regular basis and although there are steps to climb there is usually someone availble to help take the prams up and down. The staff are very friendly and the food is recommended (it is cheap!!). It is clean and safe and because it is small you can keep an eye on your children while sitting down.

May 2008 Jeni says:
This facility is very small are therefore only suits the under school age children. I have gone on and off for three years and can say it has much improved in cleanliness and food since new management. There is street parking usually outside but is up a flight of stairs which is v. difficult with prams, babes in arms, toddlers & the variety of bags we carry! Also, my 3yr old attended a private party there after opening hours and I was charged to take my baby son in too even though he didn't eat anything or play on the equipment.

April 2008 Ged says:
Having recently visited Little Treasures. I found the experience very difficult as I had to negotiate the steep non user friendly stairs with my toddler and buggy. There was no one available to help and I would have had to leave my child and buggy unattended at the bottom of the stairs, to attract someones attention to help me, which I did not consider to be a suitable option. This experience has put me off re visiting Little Treasures all together!

April 2008 may says:
Dont be put off by the stairs as staff are happy to help carry your little ones up. A childminder discount is available throughout the week and play is unlimited. the food really is excellent value and very tasty, and you can see exactly what your kids are up to as its well set out.

February 2008 alison says:
A perfect place for my 2yr 5mth old son to play safely. Some soft play areas are a bit beyond him but he still wants to access all areas, especially when his 5 year old brother's there! Now I have an 11 week old daughter i needed to take him somewhere he didn't need to rely on me to be with him, and this is the place!
It does good grub at a good price too so isn't an expensive time out and you can stay as long as you want! Just a pity it's not nearer to home!

January 2008 amber says:
hi i went to a birhday party here the other day. my baby is nearly 5 months and they had an excellent selection of walkers, playgyms and mats for her to try out x

November 2007 bryony says:
I have been going here for a while and I have to say that since the new owners took over, the place has definately improved.
They offer a very friendly service, good food at low prices and a happy environment for both kids and parents.

September 2007 Christine says:
I have taken both my niece when she was little and my son here and i think the staff there are brilliant. it is a great place to go and let the kids burn off some energy.

June 2008 kate says:
This is a really superb play centre. I have a 1 year old and a nine year old and both get a lot out of it when I take them both after school or during school holidays. It's big, safe, clean and very well run. It is really good value for money and serves lovely food.
I also use it frequently on weekdays with my baby because there is so much space and Little Tikes cars etc for her to play on.
Although I play with her a lot the layout also allows me to sit back and have a coffee as I am able see her playing safely and happily. What more can you want?

Fabulous Cheap Soft Play / Multi-Sensory for hire.

For £5 you're allowed 2 adults, 6 kids (or £10 for a group of upto 23)and one hour's play all for yourself.

This room was designed for children of all ages and abilities.

However - you do have to have 30 mins training time on all equipment as there are projections, fibre optics, electronically controlled (by the children) activities, a HUGE slide and ball pit with shower.

Best of all, it's set in a child-friendly building, built in the grounds of a park and you have to walk through the cheap cafe to get to the Space Centre.

netmums Jeni says 'I took an 11 month old, 3 yr, 6yr and 7yr. We had a fab time. My kids had such a great time, we are going again. Take the kids for the free training and see what fun they have (& get half hours free play!). What more could you want??? Call Katie at Sure Start Hyndburn for more info. Just had to tell others.'

June 2008 Lesley says:
TOP BANANAS are doing a few good offers over the summer. For the whole month of June kids under 2 go free mon to fri, they are offering a 7 day pass for £5 and a monthly pass for £15, both of these passes let you in as many times as you like, great value if you want to keep the kids entertained.

June 2008 Joanne says:
I have just been to Top Bananas for the first time this week and thought it was fab, especially the fact that there are activity classes which you do not pay any extra for, I have a 7 month old and a 2 year old, I only had to pay for my 2 year old as my baby did not use the facilities, the food is fab very cheap and when I asked the girl Ruth behind the counter ( very friendly lady ) she told me its all home cooked. Dianne did a fantastic job of controlling so many kids during the craft session, hats off to her... we will be back.

May 2008 dianne says:
Top Bananas are now running Arts & Crafts on Tue & Thurs Mornings Between 10.30 & 12.30 & on Wed Afternoons between 1.30 & 3.30 these WILL be running through out the school holidays

May 2008 Amber says:
this place is nice but is a costly do when you have more than one child. £3.25 for a 6 month old??? i wont be going when i have this 2nd baby as there are many others who dont have charges like that for second children and often under 12 months is free when u have an older child you are paying for.

May 2008 kate says:
They have a whole week of activities starting. I know because I'm running the Baby Sign and Play classes every Monday after the half term holiday.

It is really nice venue I use it for somewhere to go and eat when I'm out and about. It's great quality and healthy - reasonable prices and during the week I haven't had to pay for my baby - it's very cheap even when they do start walking. My daughter loves the baby area.

May 2008 Heather says:
This place is fab. My little boy is 3 and he did not want to leave after 2 and a 1/2 hours!!! the staff are great very friendly and the place is immaculate, I hear they are starting different classes soon so that will be good as well.

We Had Siobhans at Little treasures and she had a lovely time. Its local, reasonable priced and clean( her white tights were still white at teh end of the party! )

We also go to Ossy Mills, Run Amok(Carrs Ind Est) and Giddy Kippers. The last two are more suited to older children(think 5-6 upwards), Ossy mills is probably OK for 3-4 upwards as teh frame is quite large and they need to be that sort of age/hieght to climb up).
