My favourite pair of walking boots need doing, I went down town Timpsons in the Arndale Gone!
Who does sole & heals in Accy?

I took a pair of my weekend shoe to the Timpsons stall in ASDA Less just for for heeling but I wasn't too impressed with the result, so I thought that I would go back to heeling my own but, as the wife says, where are you able to buy rubber heels these days.

Pifco you can get them on Amazon, Meanwhile, does nobody else get their shoes re-soled anymore? Is that why Accy doesn't do boot repairs?
I'm fed up being down at heel!

We live in a society that does not believe in mending things….although they may pay lip service to conserving the planet, re-using, recycling, re-purposing.
When it comes down to it, it is easier to go out or get on the internet and buy a new pair.

I had my boots done a couple of years ago, but it was in St.Johns in Liverpool Less, so of no real use to you unless you're prepared to take a trip to the "Pool", but then with the travel costs you'd have been better off buying a new pair.


May not even be there now after the chaos of the last couple of years.
