Sports injury clinic baxenden

Hi all,

does anyone on here know the number ( or even the name!!) for the sports injury clinic on manchester road in Baxenden? Its right next door to the Bay Horse Pub on the left hand side.

One of my friends has said they are very good in there but was also wondering if anyone on here had used them?

Thanks in advance

Re: Sports injury clinic baxenden

Well I went today and saw a lovely lady called Yvonne about my knee problem. She spent around twenty minutes performing tests and assessing the issue and allayed some of my fears that I had done damage to my cartiledge or meniscus.

I have apparently done some damage to my medial ligament and caused the surrounding muscles to go into spasm which is why I'm still getting pain after 9 weeks!!! The rest of my time with her was spent with her trying to release these muscles from their spasm, this was the bit that I knew would be painful and I was definately not dissappointed!!! But at least the pain seems to have been worth it so far, its is definately more comfortable this evening, if a little tender!!! I'll be going for a repeat performance in 10 days.

I would definately recommend the clinic to anyone, very professional including not being afraid of causing a little short term pain to releive long term problems (a lot of physios are a bit soft when it comes to this!!!). Hopefully I will be injury free for a while after this but if not I will definately be going back. Thanks all for the recommendations.
