Ah yes, the days when the balcony in the Arndale was actually open and had shops on it. Funnily enough Tesco wasn't even shown in the photo, it was round the corner to the right of that picture

awww, burger chef we used to spend all our money there as teenagers. its a wedding venue now, we decided against getting married there lol

erm..... i dunno lol, i remember the chef being a massive bloke tho, scary when he was kicking kids out

lol yeah, and the food never looked anything like the pictures on the walls! what else was there, gentleman johns? the watch fixer chappy?

Gentleman Johns was formerly the CO-OP department store. I worked there as a driver for a few years .The balcony floor was carpets
