All this talk about Tesco in Accrington has got me interested.

When did the old Tesco in Accrington close down (Union St)???.

Bee, if you "spot" a store and write it down in your Shop Spotters book, what happens if it closes down? Does it not count anymore? Do you have to cross it out with your special blue crayon? Does "Shop Spotters Monthly" not issue lists of closed shops? Maybe you could look through your back copies?

I don't remember a Tesco but did once or twice assist my wife shopping at the Kwik Save one on Union street.
