Thanks -and another question.

Thanks to all of you who kindly responded, and that map certainly showed a railtrack over the branch inlet. Looking at my photos I noticed the next one was the Queen Victoria. Is it a Brewer`s Fayre ? If in doubt ask AccyWeb.

I thought Brewers Fayre was all sold off recently????

They were sold across different buyers rather than as a job lot.

Re: Thanks -and another question.

Went to the Boars Head last week ( on A6 north of Preston) it used to be a Brewer`s Fayre but now called "Innkeeper`s Fayre". Waiter said taken over recently by Mitchell & Butler. Just wondered if the Queen Vic had been taken over.

Choice and prices much as before. Only noticeable difference was the sign on the door and on the menus -- ie: Innkeeper`s Fayre.
