The AA Motorbike ?

Is it me or have the Automobile Association recently brought back their yellow motorbikes ? Have seen a few over the last few days. Maybe they never went away ?

Can't remember seeing them for years kate, can remember them changing to small vans yonks ago, must be back to the future

Looks like it Jaysay, they definitely look brand new .. never had the chance to look at the number plates yet to see if this year.

Remember when the AA motorbike patrolmen wore khaki uniforms and saluted you if you had a badge on your car? That was in the days when you got a key to AA phone boxes when you joined. I've still got 2 of those.

They looked more like Canadian Mounties then, didn't they West Ender...

Expect they are in leathers now .. will have to take a better look next time I see them.

Thanks Cazzer, have mostly seen them on the M65, and going around the roundabout off Junction 7.

The RAC Were the same only their unifrms were a grey blue, they looked like they were in the RAF never mind the RAC

Perhaps its a fuel saving thing?
Many repairs can be done at roadside that do not require a van load but a small kit of tools instead.
