The cat, (sorry), Again!

Just a quick question about it to all you feline experts.

If I shut the cat out of a room, for example the bathroom I can hear her scratching at the carpet demanding to come in, there are times when a pet needs to be excluded from a room, so how can I stop her from doing this as it's not doing the carpets any good around the doors.

Please don't ask about scratching posts, she has sufficient, she even has a square of carpet attached to the side of my desk for that, but she just uses it for purchase when she wants to climb up and see what I'm doing.

Re: The cat, (sorry), Again!

I have found that cats will try to dig under any closed door to escape confinement.

To avoid damage to floorcoverings, use a room that has vynil or lino. Or place a piece on the carpet under the door entrance-- they cant get a clawhold into that, so can't cause damage to it.
The only other way is to put them into a pet transporter cage/box for the time you need them to stay put

Let it in with you Less.......she is only going to watch, she won't tell what she has seen.

We had a persian that always came to the bathroom with me and hubby.....if you had a bath he liked to lick the soapy water off your legs.......and he was very good at walking on the edge of the bath while we were in it.....only ever fell in once.

You are becoming very tiring, it's not my fault you lost your dog, if you don't like what you read go elsewhere, I ain't moving!

P.S. a Merry Christmas to you, you failing individual of the human race, (now do you want to continue feeling hurt and miserable for yourself, or are you actually going to put some effort into being liked and useful to the site?).

One of ours does the walking on the edge of the bath thing. He's fallen in once too. Leapt out pretty quick! Have you ever seen a springloaded fluffball covered in bubbles?

She will insist on entering any room she is forbidden to enter Less, cats do that. She will also nag you to open doors and then just sit in the doorway neither coming nor going whilst you stand there waiting to close the door, cats do that too.

In what manner should I be excited?

sexually, curiosly, (is there a 'ly for confused?), or gratefully?
