Been in it once;very dark and damp and somewhat claustrophobic.
I think the street level entrance is bricked up and should still be visible from Sandy Lane/Adelaide St.!

Are you sure its not a BUNKER for HBC council members, in case of an emergency.
If it's a true "air raid shelter" yer friends could make a bob or two, open it up fer public viewing
