Congratulations.

Make sure you store your deeds somewhere safe. Some solicitors will store them in their safe for no charge. That's what I did when I got mine, after having a fascinating read through them.

If you don't need to leave your money to your children, and you fear it might get gobbled up by nursing fees in the distant future, some companies will buy your home for a cash sum, and allow you to live in it until you die. Meaning you can enjoy spending the equity yourself.

Just an idea, but do take profesional advice before making any decisions.

In the meantime enjoy being the Ladyship of your own castle.
