ah the good old outside toilet,we had an old tippler toilet out in the back yard till we had the grant done in 1972,you had to run the sink tap to make it tip over,modern science eh

Its all right for you alan, when I was a happyrentice, I used to have to dig them out when we were doing grant jobs

When the Queen came through Clayton in 1967 we were taken from All Saints to stand along Blackburn Road with red, white and blue balloons. We were made to stand in order but by the time she came we'd moved round and half the balloons had burst so I'm not sure the effect was quite what it was supposed to be.
