still a good boozer, no doubt, and it has the edge over many. I.E. it LOOKS like a pub. also got REAL ale.

I'm just sorry I couldn't join you guys on Saturday. Was talking to a friend over the weekend and they were telling me that they put good grub on too, but myself I dn't like food getting in the way of a good session

Have just remembered another drink which was available in the Stop when I was a lad - Forest Brown, a bottled brown ale. Then there was Mackeson stout,( a Mackie) and probably Jubilee stout.

Forest Brown was a good bottle Bob I ain't seen them for years, back in the seventies managed houses used to have Mackeson on draught, used to drink Jubilees down in London as in Brown and Bitter, mild in London, if you could get it, was crap
