tiling part of a wall...quick question....

going to be tiling my kitchen wall tomorrow and I am wondering if it matters if the paper is left on or taken off...the section I am tiling is only 2ft high by 7ft long...so would it matter ?
I am really wanting to do it without any hassle...

cheers

I would avoid tiling over wallpaper if you can. If any moisture gets behind the paper it will lift it away from the wall bringing your tiles with it!!
