That is so spooky.......my dad was taken ill at the weekend too, but too long ago for me to remember whether it was Saturday or Sunday.
I think it was Mr Agnew who did the surgery for my dad.......I remember thinking he looked really poorly as they loaded him( wrapped in a red blanket)into the ambulance.

Re: Vomiting brown?

Not many images put me off Rob.
As for the cough, if it persists while you are on the Omeprazole, then it needs investigating separately.
It sounds as if your Doctor is treating you for Gastro-oesophageal Reflux Disorder (GORD)...people with this condition find they get asthma type symptoms......wheezing being most common.
This is thought to be due to the acid reflux stimulating the many nerves that lie in this anatomical area.

Your doctor is right to warn you off spicy food and alcohol.....you should eat early in the evening and sleep propped up......this will help.

Cheers Rob, just having a brew and a bourbon biscuit whilst reading this...!!!

Hope you're ok.

Did you deliberately choose a bourbon for the purpose of this post?

Nope, always bring some bourbons to work and I was eating one at the very time a read the post. Didn't put me off, though - had another one after.

Re: Vomiting brown?

No alcohol? Or spicy food? This is serious!
Good job you took Margaret's advice, hope the pills soon sort you although reading flashy and jaysays posts looks like you could be on them for a while.
But jaysay enjoys the odd drink(don't know about flashy) so there's hope yet!

Saw your pics of Winchester - brought back memories of when I lived there - 1976! Also Brighton - the pier didn't look like that in my time - circa 1970!
God I do feel old...

Re: Vomiting brown?

David, that might because your condition is different.
I hope you enjoyed your bacon butty. I could just eat one right now!

I drink in moderation Gordon, but the difference with me is I take these tables as a preventative, because of some other tablets I'm on which DO play havoc with your stomach
