Re: Vomiting brown?

According to the British National Formulary (BNF).....in1999(that is the latest formulary I have) it was £30.13 for the NHS to buy a pack of 28 capsules.
It might have come down in price since then, but I would think that the 28 day supply which you were prescribed, cost quite a bit more than you actually paid for them.
Yes...I have just checked and the cost now to the NHS is £18.50.

Tell me about it Restless, but I'll tell you what I would gladly pay £7 odd for a script, rather than looking at my list of medication I get on a monthly basis. I used to have a season ticket, until I became exempt from payment, but I once actually went through Mims and priced up my monthly prescription, it frightened the bejavours out of me

Then it is worth it John......how much does it cost to look after a patient in an NHS hospital...definitely more than £16 per day.

Excellent description there bud ... how come there are no pics? Something like this could go viral on You Tube

But seriously ... glad to hear that you have a handle on it and are getting treatment.

I don't have a problem paying for my pre payment card for prescriptions - what I do have a problem with is that England is the only country in the UK that has to pay for them - likewise hospital car parking charges and exorbitant university fees - I thought we were a united kingdom and I object to subsidising the general public of Scotland and Wales (don't know the situation in Northern Ireland).

Well, if you're a student from Northern Ireland & have a place at a Scottish University, you get yourself a Republic of Ireland passport because then - as an EU student - you pay nowt. Crazy, innit?

BBC News - Rise in EU students applying to Scottish universities

In fact, if you're an English student with a bit of Mick blood & wish to study amongst the jocks then it may be worth trying to get the paddy passport. It used to be easy, but I dunno what it's like now.

Ya crazy ain't it Anne, mind you their might be changes in Scotland if Alex gets his way and they break away from the UK, might not feels so benevolent when they've to fund it themselves instead of being subsidised by English taxpayers
