What are the start/finish times at your kids nursery?

Title sums it up really. I was wondering what the start and finish times are of your children's nursery. Emily starts at 9.30am which I think is very late and finishes at 12 noon.

After taking Tom to school at 9am, Emily and I will just be hanging around for half an hour.

At our nursery they can start from 8am and finish at 12 or 1 or go all day to 6. And any combination in between that works for you. This is at Christ Church Sure Start nursery which is also very good!

My friend has the opposite problem, both her lads start at 9.. 1 up royds and the other up sandy lane, last year the little one went in the afternoon and they both finished at the same time.

Why do you have to?

At Harry's nursery you can do half or full days anytime between 7.30am and 6.00pm.

Hiya Neil - The reason it is those hours is because of the funding hours that are available for preschoolers - it is 2 1/2 hours thus 930- 12
maybe you could have a word with head of centre and ask if you can drop her off earlier and pick her up earlier - but doubt it as If it is done for one they may feel they are obliged to do t for all, which would make it dificult i suppose.
I think you can get wrap around just between 8-9.30. other than that it singing nursery rhymes in the car

That makes sense thanks. I will still blame Liz next time I see her though . 2 1/2 hours is a bit short though isn't it. They want the kids to stay till they are 18 so another 1/2 hour at 3 year old won't kill them.

Singing in the car, more like me trying to listen to the radio with Emily shouting "put big girls on please daddy" from the back of the car

Re: What are the start/finish times at your kids nursery?

She fell down the steps of the slide today and bit her tongue. She told me she was spitting out the blood and it did not taste nice - she takes after her mum I would not be that disgusting.

She is with Gabby now.
