What would you be.....
.....if you didn't do the job that you did?
In an attempt to lighten the mood somewhat from the tone of late.
We all had these dreams when we were younger - I'm not just talking about the ballerina, footballer ones - but the more realistic ones.
For a long while I wanted to be a vet - until I was told they have to study for seven years!!!!!
Then i wanted to be a social worker - but was told I couldn't start studying until I was 21!!!!!
How about the rest of you?

Re: What would you be.....
I wanted to be a vet when I was a kid but the thought of euthanasing someone's pet put me off. Then I wanted to be a lawyer but couldn't stand the thought of going to college because I knew that there was no way I could afford to go to Uni at the time..
All my Uni studying has been done in later life and paid for by myself, whilst working full time. I'm glad that I do what I do but it aint arf stressful sometimes.
If I could afford to finish work and do something which earned next to no money but was enjoyable, I'd have a stab at conservation work (preferably in Galapagos, New Zealand or Australia)..

Re: What would you be.....
I have more or less done what I wanted to do when I was at school but if I could do a career change now it would be Travel Writer!! Then again I would also like people to leave me alone long enough for me to write and algebra book (yes I am serious)

Re: What would you be.....
I wanted to be a leading lady in a West End musical.
Maria in The Sound of Music
Fantine in Les Miserables
Miss Hannigan in Annie
I'd have loved that.
