Re: where to get a fresh turkey?

Depends how far you are prepared to travel
there is this place at Garstang if you want really fresh but you must order it 10lb to 20lb

Old Holly Farm - Lancashire UK

If you just want frozen then most of the supermarkets will do a good size one

Most good butchers take orders for fresh turkeys on the run up to Christmas.

Re: where to get a fresh turkey?

It's a bit expensive but Mettrick's butchers based in Glossop/Hadfield is my local butchers and it's some of the best stuff in the country.

On-line Butchers - JW Mettrick & Sons - Buy award winning meat online from a top high street butcher -

It's a little more expensive online but they do deliver.
