Well the bit you end up on in the old half is the old level two - I still think it is level 2 when you get to the old bit. It is the same level that you used to enter at the big doors near the old canteen.

Yep you are right I just checked, I am getting confused with the old entrance being on level 2 even though it is at ground.

If you don't feel confident that you'll find it OK the people on the desk where you go in are always very helpful. It IS a fairly long trek but I don't think there's any other way. It's such a bloomin big hospital now that everywhere seems a long trek.

It is on level 2, inbetween the Children's Clinic and X-Ray. It is based in the Antenatal and Gyneacology clinic.

Is Blackburn Hospital the only one in the country that doesn't have maps and sign-posts to tell you where to go?

This hospital is so big that you need to be fit and healthy to make it to the department you need.

I believe they have the signs but they can't afford the scandalous prices the contract firm charges to screw them to the wall
