I'd of thought Lamb would be up there as a return to the fold, or even a thick gelatinous Porky pie.

Re: Who makes the best pies??
Oh no not Groove again thought you couldn't have two accounts, especial if the second account is to bypass a ban

Yup ... here we go again for a while. A no-account with two accounts. "Mature in dullness from his tender years./Groove alone, of all who post, is he/Who stands confirm'd in full stupidity./The rest to some faint meaning make pretence,/But Groove n'er deviates to sense.

Re: Who makes the best pies??
There were some members on here who thought his way of posting was quirky......and admitted to finding him funny. Not me.......I thought he was tedious.
If this is the same person with a new account to circuvent the ban, then I hope that the mods spot it.

The thing is Margaret, he must be a bit dim, thinking he can just open another account after a few months and carry on blindly as before, no attempt to hide who he is, I think Grovester kind of gives the game away really

Re: Who makes the best pies??
Haven't read this thread in full but I used to rate Martin's meat & potato pies. And the plate meat pies that Annie used to make on Tinker Brow - used to go there for dinner in the school holidays.
Lot's of chippies round here sell Pukka Pies (I've not tried 'em). I still get Hollands frozen steak & kidney puds from Morrisons - but they always seem to have the obligatory bit of gristle in them !

I've always wondered about Pukka Pies their adverts seem to pop up on every Televised footy match abroad as well if English clubs are involved. Annie's pies were great, her hubby Jim, used to take a bakers basket full of all sorts of pies into the Tape room of the Stop And Rest Ossy every Friday night

Correction to my post. I see this morning the bakers as was and then the Pickup Butt is now a Dog & Cat Grooming Parlour Strewth !! Don't know when that opened ? Still it could have become a Nail Bar
Post Office completely gutted out downstairs.
