The first time we went to France we forgot the hour time difference. Stayed overnight in Arras and got up in the morning to find they'd not only built a market round the car, tying some of the stalls to the bumpers but and using the bonnet to display stuff. Weren't terribly happy when we told them to shift the stuff because we wanted to move the car either.
