Wilsons playing fields - welcome for all ?

I assumed that Wilsons was a council athletics track and football playing fields venue for all of hyndburn.
I would love the see the 'jobsworth' who think he runs the car park and cones it off from 4.30 pm onwards on Thats Life.
Don't try the cafe either as its only welcome to athletics people.

Rant over

I have done a bit of googling and found that the facilities there are for HIRE from HBC - so not free access.

Yes - the hyndburn & ribble valley football have paid today to play on there - parents parking miles away whilst empty spaces segregated off for athletics - very odd.

I suppose it is rational to reserve parking for people playing/running, leaving the spectators to find parking elsewhere.

If there were no runners booked it does seem a bit petty to cordon off a parking area for them, but since maintaining a car park doesn't come free, the council have the right to decide who uses it.

speaking of cones etc who gives oswaldtwistle mills permission to stop people parking on the road by putting cones out along a Moscow mill street which is a public road or do they just assume its their god given right to do so.

also can i get in trouble if caught booting said cones out of the way so i can park outside my pals house
