Bentley and/or Ashworth Newark Street
Hello All!
I hope I am posting in the right thread. I'm sure someone will let me know if I am wrong. My paternal grandfather Frederick Bentley lived then died in 15 Newark Street. He died in 1964. His "live-in housekeeper" was Alice Ashworth. She had a son called Rex who also lived at 15 Newark Street. I'm trying to track down either Ashworth to see if they can supply any missing information about my grandfather. All this is part of the research for a book I am writing about my grandfather centering on his survival when on board his ship HMS Prince of Wales sunk by the Japanese in 1941. Any info or tips would be really appreciated. Thanks!
