Corlett family.

I'm looking for any family members of Frederick Corlet or Corlett born c1891. He was in the RAF in WW1 and his address was listed as 8 Porter Street.
He had a sister Margaret & his parents were Edward & Ann Corlett.
Edward Corlett was from the IoM.

Re: Corlett family.

Hi, dont know if this is of help or not. iN 1891 they were living at 42 Sultan Street. The surname on the census could easily have been taken to read CORBETT due to the census mans writing!
Edward is 36, a stone mason, born in Ramsey, Isle of Man

Mary Ann is 35, cotton weaver, born Preston

Margaret Ann is 11, cotton weaver, half time, born Accrington.

I think you will find they are all yours. CORLETT is an unusual name around here, both Ceasar and Thomas were born in the Isle of Man. Haslingden is not far from Accrington, their borders join at Rising Bridge.
