Douglas – Lost and Missing Relatives…

I am looking to establish the whereabouts’ dead or alive of members of my family who share with me a Father.

My farther was Alan Douglas born Church in 1932 to Rachel and Tommy Douglas of Canal Street. During his working life in the area he was a Bus Conductor/Driver, Van Driver for Holland’s & others, a Long Distance Lorry Driver, “Blythe’s”, Shop Keeper his own business “Jeans & Things” on Blackburn Rd, 1975/76, and a trained Nurse at Calderstones, Brock Hall and Burnley General Hospital. He died in Burnley General aged 65 in 1998.

I know of some family members living in Accrington & Burnley, some I am in contact with but I am aware of others that maybe still living in the East Lancs. Area and I wish to contact those who wish to know of there other siblings.

I know I have an older half Brother possibly named Stuart or Paul who was born in the late 1940s. I know he was in contact with my father in the 70s and was a regular in the Duke of Wellington. I believe there may be another brother or Sister born in the mid to late 70s possibly 74/75 or 1979.

If you are one of theses people or you feel you may be related or a mother of these relatives please get in touch if you wish too.

I would also welcome contact from any one who knew my father or other family members in the area. Including those from Jack Douglas’s side of the family.

I can be contacted via Accyweb or Hotmail [email protected] or via [email protected]

Thanks hun, there is another branch of the family in and around accy that emanate from Fern Gore c. 1960s & 70s, the one’s possibly connected to our family (Stuart or Paul) will be in their 60s and the younger one’s late 20s early 30s.

Anything at all I can do to help you find proof of your legitimacy, (no matter how vain a hope it may be)............
