Re: Genes reunited!!!!!

I have no need to search for Rothwell side of the family because my cousin has already done that, but I was intrigued to learn more about my maternal grandmother.
Searching has become addictive

I have been up all night, and in the space of that one night -
..I have found out that my gran was a dingle!!!! and so were her mum and dad!!!! and they lived at 121 Ardwick St Burnley (now demolished and a grassed area)
I have also found out the names of my greatgrandparents and mailed a person in Wales who has them in her tree.

I wish I had started this whilst hibernating - today I will need to sleep when I had planned to go out

Re: Genes reunited!!!!!

Hi Sue...I've been over to Annies again today. Her Dad was called George. She has been speaking to her Cousin again, June's Mum, and she knows who you are now, and would be happy to talk with you. I've got her phone number which i will send to you via pm. Take Care.

Best Regards - Taggy

Re: Genes reunited!!!!!

Thanks Taggy sooo much. I've spoken to Annie and she hasn't got a picture of her uncle Richard and has never seen him. I've got a picture of him so will copy it for her. She's told me all about my great grandma and great grandad and my grandad and my uncle that died in WW2. It was so good.
Thanks again Sue
