Re: GRIMSHAWS George & Ethel
A little more info would help Jay. Where would a person know them from? Work? socially? which area. I see they were married in Clayton in 1934 and had a son, Edward. I assume George was about 75 when he died. Was he a sports fan? bowler, snooker player, church person? I,m sure someone on here will help, just need a bit more info. Good luck.

Re: GRIMSHAWS George & Ethel
Hi,
I'm sorry ,I unfortunately don't know much about them at all.
I am really searching for information on Margaret Hynes who lived on Maden Street in the 1970's and moved to St Pauls Court next door to the Grimshaws.
Ethel Grimshaw was buried 22/10/1957 aged 42 years lived at 24 Walter Street, Accrington (wife of George)
Ashes of George Grimshaw buried 07/01/1991 aged 74 years of 4 St Paul’s Court, Oswaldtwistle.
Any information on Margaret Grimshaw or the relationship between her and the Grimshaws would be hugely appreciated
Many Thanks

Should that not be Margaret Hynes. Accrington Library has copies of all the registers of electors, if you know the street and the year, they will show all their neighbours.
The Accy Observer has a list of those buried in local cemeteries following the memorial notices.
