Henry Parkinson

Hi, I think I used to correspond with your Mum a few years back. I know it certainly was she who is sitting on the wishing stone in Oak Hill Park, Accrington. I know where your family vault is in Accrington Cemetery if thats any good to you. There are lots of family names and details on the side of it. My ancestors were the Pilkingtons, who I believe are connected with your Parkinsons.
A relative of yours also lives in Accrington because I know the lady
Have you recently been in touch with Accrington Library?

Re: Mary Parkinson

Hello Atarah,
Thanks for your reply. I know there is a photo of my mother sitting on a stone. I have a photo of her planting a tree in Oak Hill Park.
My mother died two years ago. I think I know the lady you are referring to. She stayed with us this summer for the wedding of my sister.
She doesn't have the answers to questions I have and I don't want to bother her. We are planning to come to Accrington and I certainly will
visit the Cemetery and the Library. I remember visiting, as a child, a Cemetery in Clitheroe. My mother showed me the grave of an ancestor.
Kind regards,
Joan-Bette
