I knew a Holdroyd at Accy Grammar .... but I don't remember his first name .... would be between '57 and '63.

Can't help much Tony, but on the Familyrelatives.com, Family Tree, Family History, Genealogy site is showing a Sandra Y Holroyd from Hyndburn marrying someone called Beaton in 1984.
Also Lea A Holroyd marrying a Johnson in 1991 (probably the lady that Egg & Chips mentioned). Was a young man worked in the warehouse where I worked called 'Lee' Holroyd. Probably came from Church/Ossie as company based in Ossie. Actually, he may have lived in Clayton now I think about it. |

The Holroyds at Accrington Grammar School were sons of the manager of Huncoat Pit. They are not on the register of AGS Old Boys.
