James Procter - Elizabeth Duffy?
Hello Everyone!!!
Back on the search for dead relatives!! Lol! James Procter my grandfather was married twice. The first lady he married was named Elizabeth Procter born in 1886. She unfortunately died in childbirth on 16th January 1926 and is buried along with James at Great Harwood Cemetry Plot No C541. Aged 40 years. We do not know anything about this lady exceptthat she may have been married previously and that her surname may have been Duffy. I have found a James Procter marrying an Elizabeth Duffy in June 1925 in Blackburn could this possibly be them? Was Elizabeth married before to a soldier perhaps in the first world war who died? He may have been Duffy! I need to find a maiden name for this lady if possible or some missing link. My grandfather later married my grandmother Margaret Ainsworth. If anyone can help with any information I would be very gratefull. Thank you |
