James Scarbrough Brown

Whilst researching my family tree I have come across a man named James Scarbrough Brown. He was born in Oswaldtwistle in 1880 and was shown as living at the Navigation Inn Church on the 1901 census. He was listed as Scarboro then. I have found him again in the 1911 census living in Ashton Under Lyne and he is a professional vocalist. His mum was named Eliza (maiden name Hartley). I would really like to find out what happened to him and if he has any relations still around as its a possibility he is my gt grandad. Does anyone know him or his family?
