Re: lost chocolate poodle

Just seen Yvonne, and heard the sad, sorry, story of the shortest canine ownership in doggy history.

Perhaps it's a homing poodle?

They might make a film about it, like Babe, except chocolate and furry.

Re: lost chocolate poodle

How long did you actually have the dog for? Its clearly not going to come back 'home' if its not even been home that long.

Put adverts everywhere you can think of and hope for the best, but dogs can travel quite a bit of distance in this amount of time. Maybe put an advert in the papers?

Oh there's a point. Where did it originate from? Maybe it has tried to get back there thinking that was 'home'? Maybe worth enquiring.

Re: lost chocolate poodle

Yvonne called at my house tonight, cuddling a bundle of chocolate coloured curls.

Yes, the runaway pooch is back in the arms of it's new Mummy.

Apparently it was found down by the new health centre on Blackburn Road, but is now back safe and sound.

Yvonne is too busy looking after the puppy tonight, so I was asked to share the happy news.
