Maxine Johnson
I was wondering if anyone could pass on any information on (then) Maxine Johnson. I believe her family was originally from this area. They moved to Canada in 1982 and I went to high school with Maxine in Collingwood Ontario, Canada. They moved back to the Oswaldtwistle area in September 1983 and I believe lived or stayed with relatives possibly in Stanhill Village and/or Springhill Park? We stayed in touch for a while but drifted apart. I've often wondered these past 20 or so years what had become of her. Any information would be appreciated.

Re: Maxine Johnson
Actually, I think she might have had a younger brother named John. I don't recall her parents names, but I'm pretty sure her Dad was an Engineer. Maxine would be about 37 now. If I remember correctly they stayed with relatives when first returning. It's been so long I can barely remember the addresses ( we wrote for a while ), but 51 Stanhill Village (maybe 52?) and a Springfield Terrace addresses seem to ring a bell.

Hi Tina. Did you go to Moorhead and live up Avenue Parade at any time? If so, I knew you.

Re: Maxine Johnson
Well I never.... I remember having many a good afternoon and evening up at your house. You playing the guitar and all of us having chats and listening to music. I remember you strumming the first few chords of Ziggy Stardust on that guitar, we were well impressed. I will send you a private message...
You may also remember Shurm and Fibi (also members of this site) they were both in your year at Moorhead.
