my wife....
Just posting this to see if anyone on here knows my wife...her name before she was married was Louise Armstrong ,she lived in earl street in her younger days and went St Augustines,she left home at 17 to work at Edinburgh Zoo and she has a brother called Andrew (bulb)...dont really know what else to type really - I am only doing this out of curiousity....

I dont know your wife, but if andy is the andy that used to work for vauxhall, and worked on rally cars as a hobby i know him!

Its Ken, do you see anything of the others? ie A Shaw, Cal, Derek, Shaun?
Must be about 22 year since I left there, Only seen Derek since I left, often wondered where everyone had disappeared to!
Oh and seen Roy a few times

Would you know the late John Daly? I think he worked at Accy Garages until he retired in the late 80's/early 90's.

I do remember him Snow white, he was in the sales department. Always up for a laugh too, he didn't seem to like the management too much at the time if I remember correctly.

hi ken i havent seen Cal since i left accy garages.but i have been talking to Roy today and i have seen shaun in town.
in reply to snow white i also worked with John Daly from 1975 to 1981 and he was a great bloke

What was that car you had? was it a singer Gazelle?? bet you wish you still had it now eh!
Do you ever look back and think about the SHEDS we used to work on, ie Victors, Viva's, CF's ( I hated them things, think I still have knuckle rash!) and them bedford TK's YUK!

yep it was a GAZELLE and would be worth a bob or two now. Istill work on sheds only they call them VECTRAS now and you still get sore KNUCKLES from them.
do you still drive a truck?

No, had enough of that game, still involved in the transport industry though.
I remember the Cavalier coming out, we thought they were great! LOL remember the company cars? Chevettes LOL Got a bit wiser now, Volvo S80 (might need a good leccy though one day, or a computer engineer :-) )
