And that was his whisper ... think of an Orc, only uglier and meaner, and you get some idea of what he was like. But I always did well in his classes; fear is a great motivator.

I seem to recall he arrived when I was in 3B and he taught us geography. Only had one run in with him - he pulled me up by the lapels but then realised my right fist was cocked ready to go. he dropped me pretty quickly and we got on fine after that - he even got me playing Rugby and into the 1st XV. Happy days.
