Cool Paddock House convent school

I attended Paddock House convent school(for young ladies!) from 1946 - 1950/1 and wondered if anyone can tell me if it still exists in Accrington? My name was June Whitby/Phillips and I lived at 410 Blackburn Road.
Remember Sheila Baxter and Rhona Birtwhistle (dentists daughter).
Love to speak to any of my classmates still alive! I am 76 this year and live in Sussex now (as far away from that Latin teacher as poss). Got a great education there and enjoyed those years immensely, head girl was Pat ??? my memory fails me but she went on to teach at Notre Dame in Blackburn.

Paddock House Convent Grammar School amalgamated with Holy Family Secondary Modern School to become Mount Carmel Comprehensive School .

Initially Mount Carmel was on two sites , the Paddock House site and the Holy Family site .

When the building in Fern Gore was enlarged Mount Carmel became a single site school .

The buildings of the old Paddock House School were demolished .

The Paddock House Convent continued for a number of years until the nuns left to work elsewhere .

The Convent was demolished .

There is housing now on the sites of the school and the convent
