Thumbs up Procter - Ainsworth

Hi Everyone,

My father and myself are trying to trace our family tree!!!! We need your help!!!!

James Procter my father was originally born in Rishton. His family later moved to Clayton le Moors, Accrington. Born to James Procter and Margaret Ainsworth he later moved to Hull, Yorkshire where he met and married my mother.

He is tracing the PROCTER line with fair success. I on the other hand am trying to trace my great grandfathers line of AINSWORTH.

Margaret Ainsworth born 1901 in Clayton le Moors was the daughter of Thomas (Tom) Ainsworth who we believe was a coal miner and Sarah Alice Iddon (Ainsworth). Sarah Iddon (Ainsworth) was born in 1875 and we know quite a lot about her family. Here we fall flat as we know nothing of Thomas Ainsworth or a marriage that took place. They had the following children. Mary, Annie, Margaret (My grandmother), Walter, Jack, Tom and Jane. Sarah also later remarried a Harper Westwell again we have no marriage certificate. My father remembers his grandmother and Harper lived at Peel Arm Cottage, Church.

Is there anyone currently tracing the PROCTER's or AINSWORTH'S? Or anyone who could shed me some light on Thomas Ainsworth? We know absolutely nothing about this man and any help no matter how small would be gratefully received.

Thank you for looking!
