Re: search

i am looking for my half brother who was born in Stockport on the 29/09/1969 he was as far as i know adopted to a family on Eagle st,i have been searching for many years i have travelled to the street, which is now a Tesco store,Robert as he was named was adopted via the catholic childrens society and approx 10 years ago i had a letter placed from me on his file.I have approaced caritas who now deal with the adoption files but they want a large sum of money to even locate his file.I have tried the usual routes i.e ancestry online and several facebook pages but nothing, maybe his name has been changed i really dont know. Our mother asked me to look for him sadly she has now passed away but i continue my search ..hoping one day i may just hit lucky.I fully understand people being wary but i assure you there is nothing untoward about my post i am his older sister by 7 years living in Stockport working at the manchester royal infirmary and am happy if anybody wishes to contact me to provide any other evidence i am genuine. This page is one of the last routes i have to follow so i am hoping somebody may have a missing piece of my jigsaw thank you for taking the time to read this and i wish you all a good day

Kaz, I am sorry to say I have no information that would help you, but I wish you well in your search and hope that someone can shed light on your half brother.
Good Luck.
