The only other thing that I remember is that just before we emigrated to the U.S. in 1956, we visited a family in Salisbury. I think it was the Shorrocks. I believe his wife's name was Muriel, and they had a son, Norman, with whom I shared a bed. I am only assuming that they moved from Accy to Salisbury; it may have been another family, but neither my sister nor I can figure out who it might have been other than the Shorrocks!
My 89 year old mother is still going strong; unfortunately, she has Altzheimer's and remembers nothing.
Anybody have any recollections or leads about this family?
Thanks!
