Yeah I remember Miss Brown (little lady with big boobs!) - she was very into her music. Unfortunately, I wasn´t. Did like needlework though...we had grumpy old lady mrs Livesey and then we got Mrs Grundy (I think was her name) - she was a bit better. I liked that Cocker building when it first opened as you got a choice of meals - before that (in the old dining area) we used to have to eat at tables of eight with the meal in steel containers - to be dished out by a monitor. I remember Mr Jolleys was there most days to say grace before lunch began ......now there was a man that scared the hell out of me, far worse than Neddy!! Mr Walker was a sweety though.
