Dont think so, last I heard was that she went to America or somewhere. Pat died a few years ago I am told. Also knew Vic Young.

Knew George Castle very well went right through tech in the same class, latter we both worked at Lancashire Shopfitters he actually became a foreman at shopfitters after I left, sadly he committed suicide about 20 years ago, found him in his car full of exhaust fumes, a total waste of a life was a first class bloke who came to a very sad end

I was only there for the first year in1961 and the only name that sticks in my mind is Maureen Riddle.

struth. He was still there when i left in 82 ! ! ! Do teachers ever get old. There was some real tyrants but looking back it was character building. Anyone remember mr bielby? Now he was a b***ard. Or mrs ormerod? She used to do knicker & pinafore inspections!!! Would be considered dodgy behaviour these days. But no o e batted an eyelid then
