As you know Gayle I was at the same feeder school and wanted to go to Paddock but for some reason they wouldn't have me.

They'd have spotted those dirty knees in a skirt - us girls always had clean ones!

You're heartless bringing up the subject of my dirty knees just as my shrink was telling me how well my treatment was going.
What I want to know is when did you see me wearing that skirt?
It was a kilt honest !!!

Hi patmur64, Sorry it's taken me so long to answer you. Colin and Tommy are my older brothers.Sadly Tommy died a few years ago, but Colin is still going strong and living in Clayton. I will ask if he remembers you.I loved that old school and hated having to move on to the holy family.
Take care Shaz.

To Sharon McKenna
Hi Sharon
I got your message in my email even though I don't see your message posted on the accringtonweb page itself
I do remember Colin & Tommy - am sorry to hear Tommy had died - we were in the same school team (Feb 1955, I think) - I had a photo of that team until a few months ago but unfortunately it has gotten mislaid - I wonder if you would know if there is anywhere I could get a copy - in the background was Mr Cosgrove and Mr Fred Vandome
God Bless
Pat Murphy

Hi again Sharon
The Murphys you are thinking about were Terry and 2 other brothers who lived in Springhill Road but I am unconnected to these Murphys even though Terry was in my class
