Re: Truchanovich-Family

An update, received an e-mail from Venessa today, she just returned from Belarus, went with her sister and son, was a very emotional visit, met her one surviving aunt, visited her fathers family home and graves of many relatives, came home with family heirloom and family tree and lots of memories. Well done Accy web without you this wouldn't have happened.

Did she meet Rina? If so, magic, 100% success.

Re: Truchanovich-Family

I was going to write there but you've just known everything. We met on the 4th of Augast in Minsk then traveled to my naitive town & later went to the Place of birth Vanessa's Dad. They visited their cousin who lives in the nailive house of their grandparents now. Unfortunatly my GranMa (their cousin too) died before their visit.

This visit was very emotional for us too.

Re: Truchanovich-Family

Yvonne disappeared somewhere in Cyprus I believe. Her sister lives in Fairfield Street. Last I heard she was presumed deceased. Very sad!

Re: Truchanovich-Family

I knew the family and Yvonne worked with my sister in one of the town centre cafe's. I got to know all the girls and one of the sisters is still living in an area off Sandy Lane.

I was told by the older daughter that Yvonne married and moved to Darwen.

Yvonne went on holiday to either Rhodes or Cyprus some years ago and went missing during the holiday. To my knowledge she was never located and I believe that she is now classed as deceased.

There were reports in the newspapers for a while so some information may be available through either the Telegraph or Observer.

Very sad.
